COMMUNITY
The Hidden Port Yacht Club is on of the most unique clubs in all of Baja in that it embodies the sense of community. Whether it be at the Sunday potlucks or just joining in the “Circle of Knowledge” at the clubhouse, you know you are welcome to join in. And, of course, when the wind blows and you need some assistance, we will be there for you, whether you are in La Paz, Conception Bay or Puerto Escondido.
WE GIVE BACK
Since its inception, the Hidden Port Yacht Club has given back to the community. Through the Loreto Fest we raise money for the education of local school children, with the Bay Clean up we aid the environment and set the bar for other local organizations. We have a food barrel in the clubhouse for donations to local food banks, and are constantly for more ways to give back.
RECIPROCITY
The Hidden Port Yacht Club offers reciprocity with yacht clubs all over the world. This gives you friends in every port whether you come by land, sea or air. As you cruise the world, you will “run into” members everywhere.
LOCATION
The yacht club is located in the center of the Sea of Cortez and offers excellent availability for adventures thru out the sea. From here you can go anywhere in the sea withing 1 or 2 days and then return to reprovision and go out again. We are also within the Loreto Bay National Park, and that means the the diving and snorkeling are among the best in the world.
COST
Membership in the club is tiered so that a cruiser that just needs a place to rest from time to time can join for a yearly fee of $250 Pesos. Or, for those that want a say in the clubs affairs or plan to be in the area for a longer period of time, a regular membership is only $350 Pesos. And with all we do, a membership doesn’t cost, it pays.
