I am a Vancouver Islander born and raised. I have been on the sea in some kind of a boat since childhood. I am a retired paramedic and small engine mechanic. I have been a training officer and 1st lieutenant of Canadian Power Squadrons and a member of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary.
